Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, ski touring, snowshoeing, snowboarding... The start of the slopes in the resort of La Colmiane is less than 1 km away from of the Grand Chalet. A family ski resort ideal for the family (21 slopes from green to black, children's area, 1 half pipe...).
If you want to ski at higher altitude, the resorts of Isola 2000 or Auron are about 45 minutes away by car.
La Colmiane resort is full of activities. The via ferrata equipped with footbridges, ladders and other equipment takes you through a vertiginous setting up to 2,246m!
Take to the heights again in a paraglider and discover the valley from an angle that only eagles know... For the youngest, summer tobogganing (the largest in France!), tree climbing courses, horseback riding , canyoning, mountain biking, etc.... But also hikes supervised by certified guides to discover the exceptional fauna and flora of the Mercantour National Park.
Saint-Dalmas-de-Valdeblore
Between Tinée and Vésubie, this charming village is perched at 1290 meters above sea level, in the glacial valley of the Val de Blore which gives it its name.
Largely covered by the territory of the Mercantour National Park, the town has united since 1669 under one and the same name "Valdeblore", the towns of Bolline, La Roche and Saint-Dalmas.
It is a typical mountain village, which you will enjoy discovering and which is also the starting point for a multitude of hiking trails.
Rimplas Fort
Located at 1102 meters above sea level, the Fort de Rimplas is a fortification that is part of the Maginot line.
The construction of the work was completed in 1935, with the main mission of blocking the Tinée Valley.
It accommodated 383 men and had 5 combat blocks and a cable car.
Saint-Martin-Vesubie
Its medieval historic center and its narrow cobbled streets, the parish church, a baroque building from the end of the 17th century, the chapel of the Black Penitents and the chapel of the White Penitents, true jewels of Alpine Baroque art.

Venanson
Eagle's nest, Venanson overlooks Saint-Martin-Vésubie. The village is built on a rocky peak at 1167 meters above sea level. It is a veritable belvedere over the Vésubie Valley as well as over the forests and peaks of the Mercantour National Park.
The spa town of Berthemont-Les-Bains
In Roquebilière, in the Vésubie Valley, the spa tradition dates back to Roman Antiquity.
The sulphurous, sodium, siliceous water of the Mercantour, rich in trace elements, has therapeutic properties, particularly for the treatment of the respiratory tract and rheumatology.
